*** did it. We got a baptism! Well I should say God had a baptism, we were just present.
It was hard and super stressful but everything worked out. *** came to church late and then his member friend’s car broke down and he was bringing the missionary to baptize ***. We had to drive home and get some white clothes just in case he didn’t show up. His friend didn’t get to come to the baptism but another member took the Elder and his friend came after the baptism to congratulate him. Everyone was super happy. I was so tired yesterday after the baptism.
Now our area is super busy because we have two areas combined but it’s working. The new Chinese Elder is coming in a week and then we’ll split and then it will be interesting, haha. We are really focusing on finding new investigators now. When we work with members miracles happen. We found 3 new investigators this week and they were coming to church and then last minute bailed out. We’ll get them next week. We also got some of our investigators to come to ***’s baptism which was really great. I feel blessed that God could bless us with a baptism. *** is the coolest guy ever.
Elder Tang is officially gone as well. He’s now in Hong Kong doing we don’t know what. I spent 5 transfers working with Elder Tang, learned a lot from him.
The mission is great and we’re working as hard as we can to teach repentance and baptize converts. Hope everyone out there prays for missionary opportunities everyday.
Pretty short email this week.
