Week 56! September 21, 2015

This week went by SUPER FAST. I’m used to being in the Chinese area. It just seems like home. we did a bunch of service this week and not a ton of success with teaching but it was still good. We tried hard and put forth effort. Here’s a quick summary of the past week.

Monday we had a fun p-day and we went to Cici’s pizza. We visited with S** and he accepted a baptismal date, now if only he would come to church.

Tuesday we tried to teach X** but we ended up teaching G**, X**’s boss. For dinner we went to Baytown to eat at Z**’s. It took way too long and traffic was bad. We canceled our evening appointments.

Wednesday we went to Spring to eat dinner with the K** family. We ate with R**, Sister D*, and Z**. We got to teach the mission President’s daughter J** Chinese and that’s pretty fun. She’s really funny.

Thursday we did part of weekly planning and helped J** finish building his ping pong table. He also fed us pizza. We helped a non member move and she also fed us pizza so we got double pizza, I love pizza!! Finally we had basketball in the evening and it was a bunch of fun.

Friday we had interviews with President and they were a lot different that last time. We did them together with our companions. We finished weekly planning and had a good English class in the evening.

Saturday I was with Elder Zhang on exchanges and we had a good time. We tried to visit a bunch of members and most of them were busy. We printed out a bunch of English class flyers and passed those out. We had a good discussion about where Elder Tang and I should work in Sugar Land.

Sunday we had a great Sabbath. Brother Z** and D** came to church! We went to Chinatown for maybe our last time of the transfer and talked with P**. We brought him out with us but none of his neighbors were home. We got a bunch of referrals for the Vietnamese elders.

Today I cut my hair and it looks okay. We’re going to have a fun zone activity, well hopefully it’s fun haha.

Love you all, keep enduring to the end!
